Job Description


This role is within Moody\'s Analytics Banking Operating Unit, under the Canadian Securities Institute\'s Wealth Management and Certification Unit, and within the Product Management/Content, Production, Strategy, and Implementation (CPSI Department. The Canadian Securities Institute (CSI offers education programs and credentials in Canada and around the world and has been setting the standard for excellence in lifelong education for financial professionals since 1970. The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Desktop team to ensure all Wealth Management & Certification Unit CSI courses (both IIROC and non-IIROC that require Desktop services are delivered by given deadlines. In addition, the Project Coordinator will be directly involved in administratively supporting the Project Management team in the planning and executing of IIROC projects as well as any other assigned client or line of business projects to help projects stay on schedule. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure formatted material is delivered on time and according to specified design, templates (PDF, E-books, PPT, etc., and delivery formats. Monitor Workfront Desktop ad hoc requests to ensure they are assigned and completed within required deadlines. Maintain Desktop\'s digital assets for all CSI\'s printed and online PDF content. This includes maintenance and housekeeping of archived material and Desktop libraries (Vendor Sharing, Desktop Archives, Digital Library, etc.. Exchange with subject matter experts (SMEs to get a clear understanding of their desktop requirements to provide accurate instructions to vendor. Respond to internal client\'s (SMEs, TCs, Production teams, CAP, etc. enquiries and follow up on their questions and concerns. Escalate issues swiftly and discuss problems arising during the production phase with appropriate parties and collaborate on possible solutions. Attend planning and kick-off meetings to collaborate with teams and agree on project timelines. Maintain instructional documents (How To, videos about Desktop processes to share with production teams for internal use, and update these as needed. Provide group or individual training on processes when needed Create and manage ISBN numbers for all printed textbooks. Update DLI documents with textbook instructions (ISBN number, component code, etc. Approve proofs of textbooks for print production. Be part of the accessibility norms team and work to implement required changes to PDF textbooks and CE modules, make these accessible to people with disabilities, and develop and maintain implementation support material and process. Project Management Team: Help create the project documentation such as project plans and meeting minutes. Assist with the monitoring of projects such as following up on late tasks Work with the project managers to eliminate project issues that impede the project from moving forward Address any project management tool issues raised by the team and if unable follow up with the product help desk to ensure issues are resolved. Close off projects and provide administrative support in lessons learned meetings Build and manage relationships with cross-functional teams Technical Skills (e.g. HTML, Microsoft Office, etc. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint SharePoint Workfront Required Abilities Ability to lead effective meetings Good oral and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail in all aspects of planning and execution Strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity Excellent team collaboration and communication skills Exceptional organizational and planning ability Ability to organize priorities based on deadlines and project scores Process oriented mind-set with a demonstrated history of achievement Ability to logically identify the root cause of problems and get to resolution quickly and efficiently Ability to achieve objectives and deadlines while working under pressure Years of Experience 2+ years of project coordination experience 1-2 years of related project management experience Technical Skills Knowledge of and ability to use personal computers or workstations, office support tools (e.g., word processing, e-mail, presentation software and spreadsheets Knowledge of desktop publishing tools such as Indesign, Mathplus, Illustrator, epubs, etc. Strong familiarity with various project management philosophies and project management software Moody\'s is an equal opportunity employer.
