Job Summary:



The Project Coordinator (ELV & MEP) will support the planning, execution, and completion of projects related to

Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing (MEP)

and

Extra Low Voltage (ELV)

systems such as CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access Control, HVAC Controls, and Lighting Systems.The role ensures smooth coordination among engineering, procurement, and site execution teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and as per technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating ELV & MEP project activities. Track project progress, prepare status reports, and ensure timely communication between internal teams and clients. Review drawings, BOQs, and technical documents for accuracy and compliance. Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for material delivery, installation, and commissioning. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards on-site. Support in project documentation -- RFIs, material submittals, daily site reports, and progress updates. Monitor project budgets, variations, and timelines to identify delays or cost overruns. Facilitate meetings between design, procurement, and site teams to resolve technical or execution issues. Maintain project records and assist in preparing handover documentation.

Required Skills & Competencies:



Knowledge of MEP and ELV systems (CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access Control, BMS, etc.). Good understanding of project documentation and site coordination. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project tracking tools. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Exposure to construction, building systems, or infrastructure projects preferred.

Qualification:



Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline. Project management certification (optional but preferred).

Experience:



Minimum:

2-3 years of experience in ELV and/or MEP project coordination.

Preferred:

Experience working with contracting or system integration companies in commercial, residential, or industrial projects.
