Job Description


This position is responsible for performing Project Control activities and/or supervising the overall Project Controls effort for a project. This role serves as Control Team Leader on a Capital project or as a Subject Manager Expert (SME) for the entire Project Controls Team in the Regional Office. This role may serve as lead cost, lead planner/scheduler, lead progress, or lead change management on a Capital project. Duties include but are not limited to: . Independently overseeing the Earned Value Management system by utilizing metrics and indicators to report variance analysis . Monitoring the overall integrity of the Project Budget and Forecast in accordance with the approved Baseline. . Collaborate with schedulers to analyze cost and schedule performance and document variances utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) principles. . Managing the Change Management program to identify change and risk exposure . Identify and propose to Project Management the implementation of corrective actions based on EVMS metrics and variance analysis. . Maintain the established project cost/schedule program and prepares schedule/cost status reports . Manage the preparation and the presentation of project deliverables that support the Earned Value management System. Basic Job Requirements US Citizenship required. Dual citizenship may be acceptable. Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and two (10) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to fourteen (14) years if non-degreed some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements. Willingness to travel on assignment and or periodic business trips. Preferred Qualifications Experience as a Lead Cost or Planner for a large-d project or a Control Team Lead/Control Team Manager (CTL/CTM) for a project that has EVMS requirements. Experience with the managing using EVMS principles and techniques that complies with EIA-748 in U.S. Government facilities, programs, and/or projects and maintenance of an Earned Value Management System (EVMS). Knowledge and experience working with standard business systems, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint Knowledge and experience managing teams utilizing schedule software tools such as Primavera P6. Knowledge and experience managing teams utilizing in using cost processors and EVMS reporting tools such as Cobra, and or Empower. Excellent communication skills including interpersonal, verbal and written, demonstrating the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel Experience working independently, organize, prioritize, and follow through to completion on multiple tasks under strict deadlines and changing priorities To be Considered Candidates: Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located and be able to interview on site. , Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.
