We are looking for a project associate to work with our team on the adolescent girls empowerment project, Hosa Hejje Hosa Dishe (New Step in New Direction).

If you are a young woman proficient in Kannada, and are excited to work towards empowering adolescent girls, we invite you to be part of this team.

This role requires a female candidate due to the specific nature of its responsibilities. Please do not apply if you are a male.

Roles and responsibilities

:


Develop and implement strategic plans collaboratively with the team while making autonomous decisions Actively engage in the process of ideation for digital resource strategy for various cohorts - adolescent girls, teachers, student teachers, and parents Facilitate adolescent empowerment curriculum in classrooms for adolescent girls Process documentation of various programme components Active participation in creating knowledge outputs Take ownership of assigned project components, and execute initiatives with minimal supervision Travel across Karnataka if and when needed

Required skills, competences and attitudes

:


Language proficiency in Kannada and English (read, write, and speak) 2 -3 years of relevant experience with a commitment to social change Ease with using technologies, and enthusiasm to learn new digital technologies Work independently and with the team when needed with equal ease Willingness to multitask when needed Good communication skills

You have Kannada typing knowledge You belong to marginalised or minority communities You are a feminist

The job location is Bengaluru.

Remuneration will align with prior experience and qualifications.
