We are looking for a project assistant to work with our team on the adolescent girls empowerment project, Hosa Hejje Hosa Dishe (New Step in New Direction).

If you are a young woman with proficiency in Kannada and are excited to work towards empowering adolescent girls, then we invite you to be part of this team.

This role requires a female candidate due to the specific nature of its responsibilities. Please do not apply if you are a male.

Roles and responsibilities

:


Actively engage with schools in Bengaluru, to assist and facilitate the adolescent empowerment curriculum. Build and maintain good rapport with teachers from project schools, Document learning sessions and events periodically. Plan logistics and strategies with the team. Travel to project locations to participate in project activities.

Required skills, competences and attitudes

:


Proficiency in Kannada (Speaking and Writing) Working knowledge of English. Interest in working on gender-related issues and social change. 0-1 years of experience in the relevant field. Proficiency in using computers, office suite, and enthusiasm to learn new digital skills. Ability to work with minimum supervision. Willingness to work based on the needs of the project.

The job location is Bengaluru.

Remuneration will be in line with prior experience and qualifications.
