About the Role



Mega Calibre Enterprises is seeking dynamic and results-driven

Business Development / Pre-Sales Executives

to support our diverse portfolio of projects across the Renewable Energy / Solar Vertical. Mega is doing roof top Solar EPC work, under PMSGY in multiple states. Further we are working on solar street lights, Solar pumps and rooftop / ground mounted solar plants for Commercial / Institutional customers, including Resco models for private and government clients.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in

lead generation, client coordination, proposal preparation, and pre-sales documentation

to drive business growth and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities



Identify and develop new business opportunities across relevant industry segments.
Manage full sales cycle in Solar EPC work : from prospecting ? site visits ? solution proposal ? quotation ? negotiation ? closure.

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders: corporates, industrial estates, consultants, EPC contractors, DISCOMs, etc.

Prepare

proposals, quotations, and presentations

aligned with client requirements.

Work closely with internal teams (engineering, procurement, installation, O&M) to ensure project feasibility and smooth execution. Support

pre-sales activities

, including client follow-ups and pipeline management. Track market trends, competitor activity, and subsidies/regulatory updates in the solar domain. Provide regular sales pipeline updates, forecast revenue/profit to management, and meet (or exceed) assigned targets. Maintain accurate records of leads, contacts, and conversions in CRM systems. Contribute to

revenue growth

through proactive outreach and strong client engagement. Represent the company at client meetings, site visits, industry events as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in

Business, Marketing, or a related field

. Technical / Engineering Qualification will be a welcome bonus. Minimum

7+ years of experience

in

Business Development / Pre-Sales

within

Solar

power EPC work. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Experience in

proposal preparation, tender documentation, and client servicing

. Proficiency in

MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

.

Knowledge or prior experience in the Solar power domain and experience in government schemes for Solar power / subsides / implementations.

Knowledge of government schemes like PMSGY and KUSUM yojana etc. will be preferred.


Candidate must be ready to travel (allowance will be given) as the work is spread out over various states. Candidate based in Kolkata will have to cover WB, Bihar, Orissa, Andamans and North East.
