We are seeking a highly organized, versatile person to join our operations team in our Mumbai office (hybrid) as a Project Accountant.

What You'll Do

Initialize and maintain project structures within Deltek VantagePoint, ensuring alignment with executed contracts and subsequent amendments Prepare Fee Logs and back up to determine weekly fee expenditure, including attending team meetings to match accounting information to actual timelines Enter project expense transfers and labor adjustments Maintain project contract files Gather professional fee, reimbursable, and consultant invoicing information to create draft and final invoices Calculate interest and make collection calls in a manner that maintains client relationships Process accounts receivables for billing clients and prepares A/R aging reports, including reconciling A/R to general ledger Serve as a subject matter expert by providing Deltek VantagePoint training and technical guidance to Project Managers

Minimum Qualifications

Accounting experience with client billing, project accounting, and project reporting Ability to export, manipulate, and reconcile Deltek Vantagepoint system data within Microsoft Excel Prior utilization of professional services firm accounting software, preferably Deltek Vantagepoint Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment B.Com in Accounting & Finance is nice to have Experience working with a US based company is a nice to have
