Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled

Progressive Die Sheet Metal Operator

to operate and support power press machines with progressive dies for the production of

stainless-steel watch strap components

. The role also requires the ability to

read, interpret, and work with CAD drawings

created in

SolidWorks and AutoCAD

to ensure accurate tool setup and part manufacturing.

Key ResponsibilitiesPress & Die Operation

Operate mechanical / hydraulic power presses with

progressive dies

for SS strip stamping. Load and align stainless steel coils or strips into feeders. Set, adjust, and remove progressive dies accurately and safely. Ensure proper strip feeding, progression, and scrap ejection.

Drawing Interpretation & CAD Support

Read and understand

part drawings and die layouts

created in

SolidWorks and AutoCAD

. Verify dimensions, tolerances, bend allowances, and punch clearances from CAD drawings. Support tool room and engineering teams in

design verification, die try-out, and modifications

.

Production & Quality Control

Produce components such as

links, clasps, buckles, and connectors

for SS watch straps. Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and burr-free edges. Use

vernier calipers, micrometers, profile gauges, and gauges

for inspection. Report any die wear, misfeed, or part defects immediately.

Machine & Tool Care

Perform routine

die cleaning, lubrication, and minor adjustments

. Monitor press stroke, tonnage, and alignment. Prevent tool damage and downtime through early fault detection.

Safety & 5S

Follow all

press safety and lock-out procedures

. Maintain 5S standards in press and tool areas. Handle sharp stainless-steel parts carefully.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
