Summary: We are seeking a skilled and delivery-focused Python Backend Developer to design and build scalable server-side applications using modern Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI. This role involves API development, database integration, performance optimization, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and secure backend solutions. The ideal candidate will have more years of experience in backend development with strong expertise in Python, cloud platforms, and microservices architecture. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Design, develop, and maintain backend services for user user onboarding workflows. 2. Build scalable, secure, and high-availability APIs and microservices to support user lifecycle management. 3. Collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, product, and platform engineering teams to deliver end-to-end cockpit functionality. 4. Optimize system performance, reliability, and latency for large-scale user onboarding. 5. Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls for Helix users. 6. Participate in architecture discussions, technical reviews, and solution design decisions. 7. Drive best practices in coding standards, testing, CI/CD, observability, and documentation. 8. Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to continuous platform improvements Professional & Technical Skills: 1. 8 years of hands-on experience in backend engineering or platform development. 2. Strong proficiency in one or more backend technologies, specifically in Python (FastAPI, Flask, Celery, Redis etc) 3. Experience with microservices architecture, REST / GraphQL APIs, and asynchronous processing. 4. Solid understanding of databases (SQL & NoSQL), caching, and data modeling. 5. Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). 6. Strong foundation in security, authentication, RBAC, and API gateway patterns. 7. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, logging, monitoring, and performance tuning. Additional Information: 1. The candidate should have minimum 10 years of experience in Python - Programming Language. 2. This position is based at our Bengaluru office. 3. A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field is required.
