The Programme Director is responsible for leading and managing the setting-up a programme through to delivery of the new capabilities, realisation of benefits and programme closure. Provide leadership to the programme to ensure successful delivery of the new capabilities to be implemented, controlled via governance with full delegated authority from the senior leadership teams.Job title: Programme Director:Project / Programme Management - Develop & manage the overall programme plan - agreed with all stakeholders. Manage all changes to the scope / plan throughout the programme Lifecyle. Set appropriate implementation methodologies with effective transition between Gates.
Governance - Actively promote the application of robust change management techniques across the business. Adhere to quality management systems and comply with regulations and policies from Capita and relevant regulatory bodies. Establish and manage appropriate governance model for your programme ensuring compliances to Capita ways of working. Ensure key success criteria / measurements for the projects are defined and tracked. Identify and manage the risks / issues with relevant mitigation action plans in place - manage the overall risk of the high-profile programme.
Financial Management - Accountable for ensuring commercial decisions are agreed for the Business Sector projects / programmes with financial tracking in place managing the overall strategic business / client budgets and achieving benefits aligned back to contractual commitments
Decision Making - Accountable for ensuring decisions are made via Governance with full impact to the Business Sector defined and agreed with relevant business stakeholder / MD. Managing the decisions across the complex / parallel programmes.
Resource Management - Manage the resources assigned to achieve implementation success across Capita functions, ensuring the right calibre of staff are assigned to the project with the relevant skill set profile and ownership. Identify and liaise with all departments, 3rd parties to secure the relevant skilled resources for your project. Manage succession talent matrix for the people who you line manager, with regular assessment against the capability matrix.
Leadership - Drive collaboration and motivation of all parties to work together as a team, ensuring the right culture and attitude is evidenced in how work is achieved.
Time Management Ensure the project delivers to the key milestones agreed.
