About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our UPI Team at Paytm. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects and working directly with senior leadership in fast-paced startup environments. This role will be instrumental in driving key strategic initiatives and ensuring operational excellence across our UPI ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
xe2x97x8f Drive and track the execution of strategic UPI initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines
xe2x97x8f Prepare and present comprehensive status reports to senior management, providing clear visibility on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies
xe2x97x8f Lead system performance improvement initiatives with partner banks, identifying optimization opportunities and implementing solutions
xe2x97x8f Oversee the timely delivery of compliance and risk-related projects, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
xe2x97x8f Develop and maintain robust tracking mechanisms for project timelines, deliverables and key performance indicators
xe2x97x8f Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between technical teams, business stakeholders and external partners
xe2x97x8f Identify process inefficiencies and implement standardized practices to improve operational effectiveness
xe2x97x8f Manage stakeholder communications and expectations at all levels of the organization
xe2x97x8f Planning team engagement and offsites.
Required Qualifications
xe2x97x8f 4-5 years of experience in CEO office, Founder office, or similar strategic roles within fast-growing startups
xe2x97x8f Proven track record of successfully managing complex, high-impact projects
xe2x97x8f Understanding of financial technology, preferably with exposure to UPI/payments ecosystem will be preferred
xe2x97x8f Excellence in stakeholder management and executive communication
xe2x97x8f Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
xe2x97x8f Experience in working with banking partners and understanding of regulatory
compliance frameworks will be preferred
