We're looking for the Program Manager - India Manufacturing Facility where you will lead & oversee the establishment of a new manufacturing facility in Pune that will manufacture power generation products for both domestic and export markets from Q4 2026. The role will require the management of a multitude of stakeholders across Aggreko and harnessing their functional expertise to successfully deliver the manufacturing site. Being based in Pune, you will liaise with functional and workstream leads in India and Europe, as well as acting on behalf of certain aspects of the program in person as they arise. This would include will help to establish the legal entity, recruitment of personnel to operate the site, and working with the developer of the facility and the local agents.

Role Overview: This role requires an experienced program or project manager that has a track record of managing complex programs and executing them in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you will have managed a variety of different stakeholders based in different countries, dealing with a level of uncertainty and be able to communicate both vertically and across your peer group. This important position will play a pivotal role in leading the facility in India, driving efficiency, fostering communication, and balancing the demands of both the workforce and the business.
What you'll do:
Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and set up a programme structure which brings them together to contribute to the successful delivery of the facility. The programme team will be global with extensive engagement between India and UK Manufacturing.
Manage the complex program, evolving specification and its respective workstreams to deliver the manufacturing facility. Managing on time and on budget delivery.
Act as the single point of contact for wide communications, manage regular internal reviews to maintain progress and escalate issues or blockers to progress that will arise throughout the program.
Hold the agent and developer to account for delivering the facility to the aggressive timescales for establishing the site and its operations.
Manage and direct performance ensuring timely action is taken by the team when SLA's are not met or service is not meeting the programme requirements.
You'll have the following skills and experience:
10 years+ of experience in program or project management. Can work in a dynamic and fast paced business environment and had a collaborative and challenging mindset.
A leader who can motivate and bring structure to the help drive the program to a successful conclusion.
The ability to work with stakeholders not only in India but with those across Aggreko's global footprint, being self-aware & appreciative of other cultures and languages.
An authentic and inclusive communicator who can navigate through a fast-moving business and keep the function performing against the defined KPIs.
