We are looking for a Program Manager as part of the Global Selling (AGS) team within Amazon Services. AGS is an important initiative to grow the Amazon Marketplace Seller Business around the world, with the India team focusing on helping Indian sellers list on other Amazon global marketplaces. This person will work on AGS's flagship program and foster & maintain critical key relationships with various internal and external stakeholders. playing a key role in doubling down on leading conversations with brand CXOs, helping devise global growth strategies and influencing product selection on global platforms. The objective of this position is to build and scale a go-to program targeting emerging D2C brands and helping them across different business aspects ranging from global expansion, investor connects, mentorship and beyond. This program will play a critical role in AGS's mission to enable $20Bn exports from Indian by 2025.

Working in a dynamic complex environment, the person will be responsible for leading conversations with top brands/startups CXOs, VC funds, D2C communities and various internal stakeholders. This position's success will be measured by the impact the program drives in the D2C ecosystem and overall startup's experience. Responsibilities will include doubling down on program's success from Season-2 and thinking big on key program elements for the next season. It would require engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders and establishing relationships with broader ecosystem to create value for the shortlisted D2C brands in the program. The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated ability to think holistically for different stakeholders involved and be able to drive engagements that can build and convey compelling value propositions to everyone involved.

Specific responsibilities include the following:

  • Own key workstreams in designing and executing the Amazon Global Selling Propel program
  • Engage with strategic partners ranging from VC funds, investors, government partners, D2C communities and internal stakeholders to operationalize the program.
  • Identify synergies and devise new modules to work with all stakeholders involved
  • Generate appropriate program interest in the right brand segments
Location:
This position is based out of Bangalore, India and will require some travel as per requirements. The person will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years experience in program or project management
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • 3+ years experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Deep understanding of and passion for e-commerce required.
  • Experience with stakeholder management and program management
  • Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with external customer interaction required.
  • Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage the business by the numbers. Must be metrics-driven.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.
  • Demonstrated active listening skills, highly consultative and solutions-oriented.
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA is preferred with 2-4 years of relevant work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with cross border trade selling, e-commerce, retail, advertising, or media would be an advantage
  • Previous responsibility for strategic development, product management or product marketing, revenue targets and quotas is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience influencing C-level executives highly desirable
  • Deep understanding of the retail and wholesale landscape in India with prior interactions with sellers and distributors is desirable.
  • Experience selling nascent (embryonic/start-up) products/services into new markets is desirable
