Program Managers lead projects for cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of a new feature or services to amazon customers. They gather business requirements, document functional and technical specifications, identify appropriate technical processes needed, execute and manage large scale configurations through both manual and automated processes, assemble the right technology and business teams and develop the milestones and launch schedule to ensure timely and successful delivery of the new initiative for the expansion of amazon transportation network. Program Managers contribute cross-functional business and technical skills, assess and manage risks, measure and report on progress, anticipate and resolve bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs with the technical constraints. They rely heavily on influence over authority to drive project deliverables. Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written as a Program Manager will be facilitating flow of information between internal and external stakeholders.

Creative and analytical problem solver with a passion for operational excellence Should show high ownership and institute process improvements wherever needed Ability to scope out business and functional requirements for the Amazon technology teams who create and enhance the software systems and tools Must be able to handle escalations or variance in the information and provide resolutions to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered. A natural curiosity and desire to learn. Demonstrated ability to own projects end-to-end and work on cross-functional teams

The ideal candidate will coordinate with multiple departments to facilitate request processing, maintain thorough documentation, and contribute to process improvements. You'll analyze trends, prepare reports, and help enhance operational procedures.

Manage incoming privacy-related requests through established channels Coordinate with various teams to ensure timely request fulfillment Monitor request status and maintain detailed documentation


Stakeholder Coordination



Work closely with business units, legal, compliance, and technical teams Collaborate with relevant stakeholders Effectively manage escalations


Compliance & Documentation



Maintain thorough documentation of all handling activities and decisions Perform quality assurance reviews


Analytics & Reporting



Track key performance metrics and trends Prepare and present regular performance reports


Process Improvement



Maintain operational procedures and guidelines Identify opportunities for process enhancement Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives


Typical Daily Activities



Manage incoming privacy requests Oversee data collection and verification processes Drive escalations as needed Participate in team meetings and process discussions Contribute to documentation updates


Basic Qualifications



Bachelor's degree Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of program or project management experience 3+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System program experience 3+ years of maintenance planner/scheduler in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or distribution industries experience 3+ years of advanced Microsoft Word and Excel experience Bachelor's degree in relevant field, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) full time experience Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology Experience in MS Access and SQL Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document Experience using Microsoft Projects software Experience with material handling systems (MHS) installation, operation and maintenance Experience working in an analytical environment with cross-functional teams
