Manpower Planning & Allocation
Forecast crew requirements based on business needs and route plans.
Ensure efficient crew deployment across logistics hubs and routes.
Maintain optimal staffing levels to meet service commitments.
Recruitment & Onboarding
Coordinate with HR for timely hiring of drivers, loaders, and other field staff.
Oversee onboarding, document verification, and background checks.
Training & Development
Design and implement training programs on safety, operational processes, soft skills, and customer service.
Conduct periodic refresher training to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Crew Scheduling & Rostering
Develop and manage crew rosters to ensure fairness, compliance with working hours, and availability for peak loads.
Address absenteeism and manage replacements in real-time.
Performance Monitoring & Appraisals
Track performance metrics (on-time delivery, safety, customer feedback, etc.) for each crew member.
Recommend rewards, penalties, and career progression based on KPIs.
Compliance & Safety Management
Ensure adherence to legal, safety, and regulatory requirements (e.g., RTO norms, driving licenses, insurance).
Monitor health and safety practices across operations.
Disciplinary Management
Handle grievances and disciplinary actions with fairness and in line with company policies.
Promote a culture of accountability and responsibility.
Coordination with Cross-Functional Teams
Liaise with operations, warehouse, transport, and HR teams for seamless crew deployment and issue resolution.
Technology & Reporting
Leverage workforce management tools and transport management systems (TMS) for scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
Provide regular MIS and crew analytics to management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
