Position: Program Manager
Reporting: AVP, Climate COE

NSRCEL is the start-up incubator of IIM Bangalore. Over 585+ ventures have gone through the Incubation Programme and another 1300+ ventures have taken our Launchpad Program. NSRCEL is deeply committed to mobilizing the entrepreneurship ecosystem in the country to foster innovation and economic growth.
NSRCEL is also supported by Niti Aayog, Department of Science and Technology and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
Additionally, NSRCEL has partners with corporates like Maruti Suzuki, Alstom and Hindustan Unilever and Pernod-Ricard among others to support entrepreneurs across sectors areas like Energy, Environment and Infrastructure.
What you will be doing
As a pivotal member of NSRCEL's Climate Centre of Excellence, you will play a critical role in influencing strategic decisions for the centre.
Incubation, Policy enablement, Capital access & Community responsibilities

• Nurture, Build & Serve portfolio for-profit Climate-tech startups

• Outreach, scouting, selection and on-boarding of impact startups.

• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to Design Structured Incubation Programs

• Plug Back problem solutioning into Incubator-Service Delivery model

• Connect entrepreneurs to relevant NSRCEL mentors or SMEs

• Set Milestones for growth of ventures & appropriate grant disbursements

• Implement pilots in alternate finance models, policy enablement, research and development and building the global innovation ecosystem.

• Assist in Fundraising, Partnerships & Events for the COE

• Specifically, assist in the Strategic onboarding of service providers for incubation & startups.

Requirements
An ideal candidate will likely have a combination of some of the following (need to be all)

• Have an MBA, or post-graduate in Climate allied topics

• Have an overall experience of 4-7 years (relevant experience with climate and innovation with the ability to have program management skills).

• Have started a business or a non-profit or led an important org function, preferably in a Climate tech startup

• Show evidence of partnership building, organizational, interpersonal and communications skills.

• Prior experience in handling important stakeholders and large budgets

• Understanding of the entrepreneurial ecosystem along with relevant networks in India & beyond

• Have a bias for action
