Role: Program Manager [Youth Mentor], Bangalore
Experience: 5+ years | Salary: 60-70k/month
Role Overview
The program manager will play a pivotal role in growing and innovating the Bridge Program. Reporting to the CEO, the role involves overseeing day-to-day program operations while also envisioning new formats and models to scale the program's reach and relevance. The position requires close coordination with youth, teams, mentors, and stakeholders across multiple centers.
Key Responsibilities
Program Strategy & Expansion

  • Work closely with the CEO to define short-term and long-term program goals and implementation plans.
  • Lead the growth of existing programs and design new components for residential and non-residential offerings.
Program Management & Execution
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of the Residential Bridge Program and Non-Residential Outreach Program, including planning, implementation, and review.
Team Coordination
  • Lead and coordinate with mentors, program staff, and volunteers across centers.
  • Facilitate team meetings, capacity-building initiatives, and a performance-driven culture.
Program Design & Content Development
  • Research, design, and develop program modules, frameworks, and delivery mechanisms.
  • Monitor implementation and suggest data-driven improvements.
Youth & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Interact regularly with youth to ensure engagement and growth.
  • Engaging with stakeholders in multiple cities and States institution including government.
  • Ready to travel within cities and across India
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with Child Care Institutions (CCIs) and external facilitators to enable program participation.
Administration & Compliance
  • Lead administrative and program functions across multiple cities and centers.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, donor requirements, and legal regulations.
Financial & Reporting Support
  • Assist in budgeting, fundraising activities, and audit preparation.
  • Create and maintain documentation to track youth progress, program outcomes, and partner/donor reports.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 5-6 years of experience in program management in the development sector.
  • Experience working with youth and familiarity with care systems is a strong advantage.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Languages: English (mandatory); Kannada/Tamil and Hindi (preferred)
Work Environment
  • Reporting To: CEO
  • Location: WeLive Foundation center in Bengaluru
  • Work Days: 6 days a week( 5 days office +1 Day work form Home)
