Role Overview



Sreenidhi University is launching its Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme for the first time. The founding Program Head will provide academic, strategic, and administrative leadership to design, launch, and scale the programme in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, industry expectations, and global best practices.

The role calls for a visionary academic leader with strong industry and academic networks, a passion for undergraduate business education, and the ability to build a future-ready programme from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities



1. Academic Leadership & Curriculum Design



a) Lead the conceptualization, design, and implementation of the BBA programme in line with NEP 2020 (multidisciplinary, experiential learning, flexibility, internships, skill integration).

b) Develop an outcome-based curriculum with clear Programme Outcomes (POs), Programme Specific Outcomes (PSOs), and Course Outcomes (COs).

c) Ensure integration of industry-relevant certifications, case-based learning, simulations, live projects, and internships.

d) Periodically review and update curriculum based on industry trends, academic benchmarks, and stakeholder feedback.

2. Programme Launch & Growth



a) Establish the BBA programme as a flagship undergraduate offering of the University.

b) Build academic processes, academic calendars, assessment frameworks, and academic governance structures.

c) Support student enrolment initiatives, branding, outreach, and positioning of the programme.

d) Work closely with Admissions, Marketing, and Corporate Relations teams.

3. Faculty Leadership & Development



a) Lead recruitment, mentoring, performance management, and development of BBA faculty.

b) Foster a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

c) Encourage faculty engagement in consultancy, industry interaction, FDPs, and applied research.

4. Industry & Academic Engagement



a) Build and leverage strong industry partnerships for internships, projects, guest lectures, mentoring, and placements.

b) Establish MoUs with corporates, startups, professional bodies, and business schools.

c) Invite industry leaders, CXOs, and entrepreneurs as adjunct faculty, visiting professors, and mentors.

5. Quality, Accreditation & Compliance



a) Ensure alignment with NAAC, NIRF, UGC, and University regulations.

b) Maintain documentation and evidence for accreditation, rankings, and audits.

c) Drive continuous quality improvement through structured feedback and review mechanisms.

6. Student Development & Outcomes



a) Create a holistic learning environment focused on employability, entrepreneurship, ethics, leadership, and nation-building.

b) Promote student participation in competitions, internships, social projects, clubs, and professional bodies.

c) Mentor students for higher education, entrepreneurship, and career pathways.

Desired Qualifications & Experience



Essential:



1. PhD / MBA / Postgraduate degree in Management or allied disciplines from a reputed institution.

2. Minimum 10-15 years of experience in academia and/or industry, with at least 3-5 years in an academic leadership role (Program Head / HoD / Coordinator).

3. Strong understanding of undergraduate business education and NEP 2020 reforms.

Exposure to

industry-academia collaboration

launching or scaling academic programmes

. Experience with accreditation, rankings, and outcome-based education.
