Plan, implement, and oversee social care interventions for elderly beneficiaries.
Work closely with community officers and field teams to ensure effective delivery of social support services.
Develop individualized care plans (ICP) to address the social, emotional, and financial needs of elderly individuals.
Organize social engagement activities, peer support groups, and community outreach programs to promote active and dignified aging.
Facilitate elderly access to social protection schemes, pensions, and entitlements to enhance their quality of life.
Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy
Build and strengthen partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, and local community organizations to expand social care services.
Collaborate with social welfare departments and municipal bodies to promote elderly-friendly policies and initiatives.
Represent Vriddha Mitra at advocacy forums, policy meetings, and community engagement events.
Develop strategic partnerships to enhance home-based care services and assisted living support.
Capacity Building & Training
Conduct training sessions for community officers, caregivers, and volunteers on best practices in elderly social care.
Develop training materials focused on elderly rights, social inclusion, and caregiving approaches.
Lead awareness campaigns on elder abuse prevention, financial literacy, and mental well-being.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
Track and assess the impact of social care interventions through data collection and analysis.
Document case studies, success stories, and program insights to inform stakeholders.
Prepare impact reports and progress assessments for internal and external communication.
Ensure timely reporting and compliance with program objectives and donor requirements.
Required qualifications, experience and skills
Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in social welfare programs, community work, or elderly care services.
Strong knowledge of elderly care, social security schemes, and government welfare policies.
Experience in working with government agencies, NGOs, and grassroots social service initiatives.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and Hindi.
Ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams and community settings.
Strong organizational skills with proficiency in MS Office and case management tools.
