Building Ecosystems for sustainability of APD interventions

Summary:
Implementation of building ecosystems programme in districts through coordinating with PA and GI director, district coordinators APD teams, SHGs, Taluka/district federations and DPOs. Ensuring implementation of APD interventions to be sustainable in long term or as projects or programmes required. Reaching beneficiaries to access health, rehabilitation, livelihood, and entitlements for persons with disabilities (PwDs).
Key Responsibilities
1. Ecosystem Building & Coordination
Visits to assigned districts coordinate and work with PA and GI director, APD programme teams, fellows and animators to build ecosystems for sustainability of APD interventions.
Support district coordinators to Map district stakeholders: government dept such as, health, education, RDPRI, Urban local body, NRLM and NULM, NGOs, DPOs and PwD leaders.
Support to organise and facilitate meetings of Talluk District disability federations of PwDs and Carers
Support district coordinators to facilitate PwDs and Carers to access disability certificates, UDID, pension, caregiver allowance, and other schemes.
Follow up on district orders, circulars, and service delivery gaps with district coordinators.
2. Health, Rehabilitation and livelihood
Support district coordinators to connect PwDs and carers to APD interventions and govt depts. for screening, referrals, and rehab.
Maintain all districts rehabilitation data and identify service gaps.
3. Sensitization and capacity building
Organise capacity and sensitization programmes to build capacities of SHG, taluk and district federation leaders to strengthen SHG, taluk and district federation in coordination with district coordinators.
4. Data, Reporting & Evidence
Maintain all district disability database and key indicators dashboard.
Submit consolidated and individual monthly progress reports, case studies, and field evidence for advocacy.
5. The JDs are subject to change based on the work
Qualifications
Master's in Social Work, Rehabilitation, Public Health, Education, Sociology, or related fields
5-10 years' experience in community development/disability sector
Knowledge of RPwD Act, government systems, and district administration
