The program empowers young women to thrive in technical education and careers by providing them with sustained guidance, resources, and a strong support network.
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented
Program Coordinator
to manage the successful execution of the Women in Engineering program. The role involves working closely with students, mentors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery, impactful engagement, and strong visibility of the program's progress and success stories.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Program Execution
Manage the full lifecycle of the program, from planning and implementation to tracking and reporting
Coordinate activities such as mentoring sessions, workshops, orientation events, and review meetings
Student Onboarding & Engagement
Oversee the onboarding process for new student cohorts, ensuring all eligibility and documentation requirements are met
Maintain ongoing communication with students to address challenges, track progress, and enhance their experience
Facilitate mentorship connections and peer interactions
Stakeholder Management
Act as a bridge between students, mentors, funders, academic institutions, and internal teams
Ensure timely updates and communication with all program stakeholders
Support donor reporting and impact storytelling
Social Media Management
Collaborate with the communications team to highlight program milestones and success stories
Create and schedule content to showcase student achievements, events, and program outcomes
Maintain a consistent and engaging online presence for the program across platforms
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree (preferably in engineering, education, social sciences, or management)
2+ years of experience in program coordination, student support, or community engagement. Freshers with interest and willingness to learn can also apply.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with social media content planning and basic design tools (e.g., Canva)
Highly organized, proactive, and empathetic toward student needs
Comfortable working with diverse teams and managing multiple responsibilities
