Role Description:
eGov believes ideas create impact only when effectively captured, communicated, and shared. As the Program Communications & Advocacy Lead, you will shape how their work is understood by governments, partners, and citizens - crafting clear, credible, and inspiring narratives. You will lead communications for the Manhole to Machinehole (M2M) initiative, which aims to end unsafe manual scavenging by enabling a shift to safe, mechanized desludging in Indian cities. From reports and training materials to advocacy campaigns, you'll drive how the M2M story is told and champion ecosystem engagement.
Job Duties And Responsibilities:
Lead communications for the Manhole to Machinehole (M2M) initiative, ensuring clarity, consistency, and impact.
Create reports, training modules, and program documents for governments, NGOs, and partners.
Develop compelling content for workshops, advocacy, and ecosystem engagement.
Produce multimedia outputs, videos, infographics, presentations, experience centers--to simplify and amplify key messages.
Capture and share program learnings to influence broader public systems.
Requirements:
5-10 years of experience in strategic communications, with a talent for turning complex ideas into powerful stories.
Creative and skilled in tools like Adobe Suite, video editing, and PowerPoint to design impactful outputs.
Strong storyteller with excellent communication skills and a drive to scale eGov's impact.
