Role: Program Associate (District Finance & Operations), Uttar Pradesh
Experience: 2-3 years in financial coordination
Salary: Upto 5.4 LPA
Travel: Frequent travel across blocks within the district
About the role:
The Program Associate will be an integral member of the District Team, responsible for financial management, coordination, strategic support, and essential administrative functions. This role collaborates closely with the district program teams, accounts team, and state-level stakeholders to ensure the smooth, effective, and compliant implementation of program activities and operational processes.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management and Compliance

  • Budget Oversight: Oversee and manage all program budgets at the district level.
  • Bill Processing: Facilitate and ensure the timely processing of bills, invoices, and expense reports.
  • Fund Management: Handle program funds and manage banking transactions relevant to district activities.
  • Grant Management: Coordinate closely with the accounts team for all matters related to grants and financial reporting.
2. Program Coordination and Operations:
  • Administrative Support: Provide necessary logistical and administrative support to the District Program Manager and the district team.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a key coordinator between the district teams, the central accounts team, and state government officials to enable smooth implementation.
  • Documentation: Maintain essential program documentation, including financial records and operational guidelines.
3. Reporting and Communication:
  • Report Drafting: Utilize strong drafting skills to prepare clear and concise reports, proposals, and official communications.
  • Coordination: Maintain excellent coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with all internal and external parties.
Required Experience:
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in financial management, program coordination, or related administrative roles.
  • Advantage: Prior experience in NGOs, government projects, or education-focused programs is preferred.
  • Advantage: Prior experience handling logistics and administrative responsibilities is preferred.
  • Education: Post-graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Commerce, Accounting, Management, or Social Work).
  • Core Skills:
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and proven ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively.
