About your role:

The Sustainable Cities Program at the WRI India Ross Center seeks a Coordinator for Program Data and M&E to support our work focused on informing India\'s transition towards cities that are low-carbon, resilient, and inclusive.

You will play a key role in supporting the senior leadership in various project/programme planning, monitoring, evaluation and learning processes. This role involves extensive liaison with diverse teams and initiatives across the Cities Program. You will serve as a focal point for administrative coordination, communication, and program data management. The Program Coordinator performs a critical function by supporting WRI India Ross Center to improve the assessment of our program outcomes, resulting in effective engagement with our donors, partners and the ecosystem.

How your day will unfold:

1. Program Coordination & Data Management (40%)

  • \xc2\xb7 Liaise and communicate with project teams and cross-cutting functions to support reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • \xc2\xb7 Assist to collect and analyse project data and to prepare data presentations and visualizations for information sharing, responding to queries, knowledge management, planning and decision making.
  • \xc2\xb7 Research, compile and organize information from various sources for periodic reports, graphic summaries and presentations, awareness-raising, meetings, etc.
  • \xc2\xb7 Design and update online tools, such as simple dashboards, to monitor key metrics
2. Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning (PMEL) Support (40%)
  • Offer support to project teams to facilitate quarterly and annual planning, monitoring, evaluation and learning processes
  • Guide / train staff to use tools and platforms for project management and PMEL
  • \xc2\xb7 Collaborate in PMEL activities, such as developing theories of change, building measurable indicators and results frameworks, and documenting lessons learned
  • \xc2\xb7 Monitor and review documentation for completeness and compliance; follow up with project teams to resolve inconsistencies
3. Administrative Communications (20%)
  • \xc2\xb7 Anchor routine information-sharing tasks, such as taking meeting minutes, creating a newsletter, and maintaining a repository of digital resources
  • \xc2\xb7 Assist in organizing online meetings, staff workshops, visits, and WRI India\'s flagship event, Connect Karo
  • \xc2\xb7 Coordinate with Facilities, Operations, Budgets and other teams, as well as external vendors, to handle preparations, scheduling, logistics and other event requirements
Qualifications and Requirements we seek:
  • 2-4 years of relevant, full-time work experience with demonstrated involvement in program coordination and communication, data management, monitoring, evaluation and learning, or related subject areas.
  • Degree in public policy, economics, political science, environmental studies, or related field.
  • Interest and working knowledge of any of the main issues within WRI India\'s Cities portfolio, such as sustainable urban development, mobility, air quality, water and climate resilience, and gender and social equity.
  • Keen interest in change management is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong analytical skills and superb attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently as well as with a team.
  • Self-starter with ability to juggle multiple assignments at one time.
  • Proficiency with any of the following platforms is a plus: Asana, DevResults, Power BI, Teams, Canva
Salary and Benefits: INR 8,00,000 to INR 9,00,000 CTC

Salary shall be commensurate with experience and skills. WRI offers a generous and comprehensive benefits package.

Duration: 1 year (extendable based on performance and project requirements)

Location: Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, India
