As a Program Associate, you will play a critical role in shaping Avanti's first Commerce-track program for Government School students aspiring to become Chartered Accountants or enter accounting careers. You will be responsible for managing our student cohorts--their challenges, and needs--and converting those insights into program recommendations. Lead outreach efforts across JNV schools (Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh) to identify high-potential students. Support coordination of student selection through entrance tests, board marks, and Avanti assessments. Facilitate communication with students, families, and school administrators to build trust and participation. Provide logistical and on-ground support during bootcamps, test series, and mentoring sessions. Track student engagement, maintain records, and escalate risks or dropouts proactively to the Program Head What You'll Actually Do Interact with students to help them in form filling, exam preparation & any other challenges that they might face during their preparation Who We're Looking For Ability to build rapport with students from different backgrounds and create safe spaces for honest sharing. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate messy real-world data into clear insights. Good documentation and communication skills. What Probably Won't Work This is the first Avanti program for the Commerce track. While we're targeting students from similar backgrounds as the students we've worked with so far, this is a new direction for the organization and we will encounter situations where our assumptions fail. Progress of any students on the Commerce track for becoming a Chartered Accountant or getting into jobs in the Accounting vertical is heavily dependent on the ability to afford expensive coaching programs and to participate in high touch CA Intermediate and CA Final coaching while pursuing a course or working in a job. The primary contribution you will make in this role addresses is to understand this problem statement better and use those inputs to help us design a large scale free program for Govt. School students. Compensation & Logistics - Will range from 4-8 Lpa depending on the profile and performance in the selection rounds - Location: Mumbai/Pune - Travel: Mostly within Maharashtra, but occasionally across India
