Role Overview



The

Profit Control Auditor - Store 360

is responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and profitability across partner

convenience stores (C-stores)

managed under Mostedge's Store 360 service.
The role combines financial analysis, vendor oversight, audit-level review, and hands-on store operations monitoring to safeguard margins and drive store performance.

Key Responsibilities



1. Financial Reporting & Analysis (C-Store Focus)



Prepare and analyze

Store P&Ls, Balance Sheets, Daily/Weekly/Monthly sales reports

. Track revenue trends, shrinkage, variance, and margin deviations across categories (tobacco, beverages, snacks, lottery, etc.). Evaluate operational KPIs such as

labor cost %, COGS %, inventory turns, vendor credits

, and cash reconciliation.

2. Store Audit & Compliance



Conduct

Store 360 audits

Ensure stores follow SOPs, state regulations, and POS/back-office standards (Gilbarco, Passport, Verifone etc.).

3. Vendor Management & Margin Control



Review vendor invoices, credits, price changes, billing accuracy, and delivery discrepancies. Track

cost price updates vs POS pricing

to avoid margin leakage. Evaluate vendor performance and detect overcharges, short deliveries, or pricing violations. Support vendor negotiations by providing data-backed insights.

4. Revenue & Expense Management



Analyze expenses such as labor, utilities, services, supplies, repairs, waste, and operational spending. Identify areas where the store is losing money and recommend corrective actions. Ensure all expenses are correctly allocated in back-office systems.

5. Issue Resolution & Customer/Store Support



Act as a key point of contact for store owners, managers, and staff. Resolve issues related to:
? POS vs Back Office discrepancies
? Price book errors
? Missing invoices
? Margin variances
? Inventory mismatches

Coordinate with support teams, field technicians, and software providers when needed.

6. Strategic Store Oversight



Review store performance weekly and prepare actionable insights for owners. Identify growth opportunities through SKU optimization, pricing corrections, and category management. Provide accountability on store profitability through structured reporting.

? Required Skills & Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business, or similar field. Experience in

C-stores, fuel stations, retail audits, or back-office systems

(preferred). Strong understanding of POS systems and C-store operations. Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple stores/accounts.
