Job Summary:

We are seeking a distinguished academician and researcher to join our Department of Biotechnology as a Professor. The candidate should demonstrate excellence in teaching, research, mentoring, and institutional development, and contribute to innovation and industry-academia collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging lectures and laboratory sessions in biotechnology and its subdomains such as medical, agricultural, industrial, environmental, bioinformatics, and nano-biotechnology.o Apply modern pedagogical approaches including experiential and blended learning in line with accreditation standards.o Lead high-impact research projects, attract research funding, and publish in reputed SCI / SCIE / Scopus-indexed journals.o Guide Ph.D., postgraduate, and undergraduate students in research and academic projects.o Foster industry collaborations, consultancy, and outreach activities.o Contribute to departmental administration, curriculum development, and accreditation processes (ISO, NBA, NAAC, NIRF, etc.).o Mentor faculty colleagues and contribute to institutional policy and academic growth.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Strong academic and research credentials with proven expertise in any subdomain of biotechnology M.Tech in Biotechnology (or a closely related discipline) with Ph.D. in a relevant field. Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and First class or equivalent at both Bachelor's and Master's level in the relevant branch.o Both UG and PG degrees must be from AICTE-approved institutions and obtained in full-time mode.o Industrial experience preferred. Demonstrated record of research excellence, publications, and mentorship.o Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.o Commitment to academic innovation and student success. Minimum 10 years of experience in teaching / research / industry, out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor.o At least 6 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI / UGC / AICTE approved journals, and 2 successful Ph.D. scholars guided as Supervisor / Co-supervisor.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
