Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Professor in Public Health Dentistry to lead teaching, research and community oral health programs. The ideal candidate will mentor students, drive public health research, and contribute to institutional leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in public health dentistry, epidemiology, preventive care, health promotion, etc.
Supervise MDS dissertations / thesis projects and guide students in research.
Lead research projects, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and apply for grants.
Organize and oversee community outreach programs (screening camps, school oral health, awareness drives).
Collaborate with public health bodies, NGOs, and government health agencies.
Provide academic leadership, mentor junior faculty, and serve on committees (teaching, ethics, curriculum).
Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance, and program evaluation.
