To lead, teach, and mentor students in the field of Law, contribute to the advancement of legal education and research, and support the academic and administrative functions of the department.
Key Responsibilities :
Deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, and tutorials in various areas of Law.
Develop curriculum, teaching materials, and innovative pedagogical practices in line with academic standards.
Supervise undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral research projects.
Publish research papers, articles, and books in reputed national and international journals.
Mentor and guide students in academic, research, and career pursuits.
Contribute to departmental administration, academic committees, and policy development.
Foster collaborations with industry, legal institutions, and professional bodies.
Organize and participate in academic events such as moot courts, legal aid camps, workshops, and conferences.
Ensure compliance with UGC, BCI, and other statutory guidelines for legal education.
Qualifications & Experience:
Ph.D. in Law from a recognized university (mandatory).
Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience in Law, with evidence of published work of high quality.
Consistent record of academic excellence and contributions to the legal field.
Experience in curriculum development and academic leadership.
Familiarity with recent legal developments, case law, and practical applications.
