Job Title Professional, Quality Assurance Engineering What does a great Quality Assurance Engineering - Associate do?

You will develop, review and execute formal test plans, test cases/scripts to ensure the delivery of quality software applications in a dynamic environment. Participates in application, network, system, functional, regression, and user acceptance testing and ensure traceability from requirements to test cases, document and generate reports and quality related metrics.
You will perform technical testing activities include planning, design, scripting, execution, troubleshooting, and reporting. Collaborate with technical and business groups to define testing scope, monitor and execute automation/performance test activities, research new tools and test approaches and involve in their implementation and monitoring. Automate test cases using test automation tools such as TOSCA, Hammer Call Master etc to automate Test scripts.
For large projects, monitors and executes automation/performance testing activities. To define the testing scope, you will work with technical and business groups. New tools and testing methodologies should be researched, implemented, and monitored.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

• 
  Exposure to any Contact Center self-service applications such as IVR and web applications

• Exposure to of test case automation design and implementation with Tricentis TOSCA, Hammer tools.
• Good knowledge of information systems elements (hardware, software, network) and their application to business functions/processes.
• Good understanding of the key processes in the business and the business rules that impact the development and/or implementation of information systems.
• Self-starting and independent comfortable with creating test plans and test scenarios with minimum assistance using application and requirement documentation. Works well with some ambiguity and changing requirements.
• Drives continuous improvement through all processes, including but not limited to, team standards, test planning, resourcing and test execution, as well as debugging, metric collection, and reporting.

Project Leadership:

• Provide quality and test advocacy.
• Perform planning, organizing, monitoring, and oversight of all phases of testing.
• Work closely with project manager and others to ensure business-testing requirements are being met.
• Lead preparation of business scenarios and required test scripts, including identification of needed master and transactional data to execute end-to-end testing.
• Facilitate test meetings and escalating issues/concerns to the project management team as needed.
• Monitor issues and defects for trends and provide metrics to the project management team.
• Responsible for the oversight of requirement traceability throughout all test phases.
• Participate in requirements and design walkthroughs to understand the testing needs and raise questions to clarify as needed.
• Manage risks associated with the testing and takes preventative action when any risks become unacceptable. Manage stakeholder relationships with respect to all testing matters.

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or equivalent work experience and/or Certifications. 0-2 years of related technical experience.
• Exposure to Automation and manual testing of Contact Center self-service applications such as Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems, Virtual Assistant, Softphone, Chat, SMS, Email etc. and Salesforce Service Cloud, CRM applications and Case Management tools.
• Knowledge of automation tools: Tricentis Tosca, Empirix Hammer.
• Python or Java knowledge a plus
