Planning Manager - Data Center Development Construction

Project Location:

Navi Mumbai, India



Job Summary:

JLL is seeking an experienced Planning Manager to oversee Planning and Scheduling for Data Center Project in Navi Mumbai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient execution of this complex project.



Key Responsibilities:



Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard software



Coordinate with various stakeholders to gather and integrate schedule information



Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or conflicts



Analyze schedule variances and recommend corrective actions



Prepare and present regular progress reports to project management and clients



Assist in resource allocation and optimization across project phases



Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies



Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and project milestones



Support the change management process by assessing schedule impacts of proposed changes



Mentor and guide junior planning staff



Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / PG in construction management



Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction planning for large-scale projects, preferably in mixed-use developments



Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project



Strong understanding of construction methodologies and processes



Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills



Effective communication and interpersonal abilities



Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines



Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Mumbai



Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of Marathi is a plus



Preferred Qualifications:



Master's degree in Construction Management or related field



PMP or equivalent project management certification



Experience working on international projects or with multinational teams



Knowledge of Lean Construction principles and practices
