Job Overview:

We are seeking a responsible, safety-focused

Commercial Vehicle Driver

to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate company vehicles to transport goods/materials safely and efficiently, ensuring on-time deliveries and exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and compliance with all DOT and company regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate commercial vehicles for deliveries, pickups, and transportation of goods. Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections. Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and documented. Follow all state and federal traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies. Maintain delivery logs, paperwork, and electronic route tracking if applicable. Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members. Navigate routes efficiently to meet scheduled delivery times. Report any mechanical issues, delays, or incidents promptly. Keep vehicle clean, well-maintained, and fueled. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and interactions.

Qualifications:

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or appropriate license for vehicle type. Clean driving record with strong safety history. Previous experience as a commercial or delivery driver preferred. Ability to lift, load, and unload cargo as needed (weight requirements may vary). Strong time-management skills and reliability. Ability to pass background checks and drug screening (if required). Knowledge of routes, navigation tools, and DOT regulations. Good communication and customer service skills.
