Essential Job Functions:
- Support security assessments and vulnerability analysis, under the guidance of senior team members.
- Assist in security monitoring and incident response activities.
- Participate in security awareness and training programs.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to enhance security controls.
- Conduct basic security reviews and assessments.
- Help maintain security documentation.
- Stay informed about emerging security threats and trends.
- Contribute to the development of security guidelines and standards.
- Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Typically, 3+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 1 year in a similar role years of experience in security engineering or analysis
- Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies
- Basic coding and debugging skills
- Knowledge of security concepts, industry standards, and tools
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Advanced degree in a related field is a plus
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or CISA) or advanced training a plus
