Job Responsibilities:

Conduct tests. trials, process simulation, process development, equipment sizing and specification, calculations and simulations to demonstrate the value proposition of equipment and solutions vis-\xc3\xa0-vis competition products does.
Technology transfer & Scale up (lab processes to pilot plant and commercial levels).
Prepare technical proposals for our customers and assist our sales and costing teams in deriving the appropriate pricing of our equipment and solution.
Enable our customers to derive the maximum performance from our equipment and solutions
Identify customer problem areas and constantly drive solutions or innovations or new services for the customers
Prepare process block diagrams and process flow diagrams.
Perform mass and energy balance calculations.
Handle scale-up activities from lab processes to pilot plant and commercial levels.
List facility requirements for new product planning.
Prepare and review process data sheets for pumps, reactors, exchangers, vessels, and control valves.
Design and size pipes, control valves, heat exchangers, and distillation columns.
Review vendor technical offers and make informed selections.
Lead Greenfield projects from the design stage to commissioning.
Manage energy and material balance to achieve project objectives.
Develop and check Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and line designation tables.
Calculate utility requirements and operating costs for projects.
Maintain and optimize continuous plant operations using Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
Apply your expertise in the hydrocarbon and petrochemical industry to ensure the efficiency and reliability of processes.
Coordinate with support services, production, and quality teams.
Create Plant PSSR checklists and participate in the development of standard operating procedures.
