Key Responsibilities



Supervise

daily production activities

including sorting, grading, trimming, garland making, packing, labeling, and preparation of fresh flowers and pooja items for export. Ensure

quality maintenance

of flowers and garlands by monitoring handling methods, moisture control, freshness, and overall appearance to meet international standards. Develop and implement

export-quality protocols

tailored to specific customer and market requirements. Plan and manage

production schedules

aligned with export orders, flight timings, and client specifications to ensure timely dispatch. Apply

FIFO/FEFO practices

to minimize wastage, spoilage, and rejections, ensuring maximum shelf-life and efficiency. Conduct

regular quality checks

and collaborate with the QC team to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. Supervise and train workers on

export-grade flower handling, garland preparation, hygiene, packing standards, and warehouse practices

. Maintain accurate

inventory records

and prepare daily reports on production, quality, wastage, and dispatch activities. Coordinate with

logistics and export teams

for shipment readiness, including

container stuffing, warehouse operations, and timely dispatch

. Drive

process improvements and innovations

in flower exports, focusing on quality enhancement, cost reduction, shelf-life improvement, and operational efficiency. Build and develop strong relationships with

farmers for direct sourcing of fresh flowers

, ensuring consistent supply and fair pricing. Provide training and guidance to farmers on

export-quality cultivation, harvesting, and post-harvest handling practices

to improve yield and freshness. Collaborate with farmers to implement

sustainable practices

that enhance shelf-life, reduce costs, and strengthen farm-to-export supply chains. Uphold

hygiene, safety, housekeeping, and 5S standards

across production and warehouse facilities.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement



Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly production and performance reports. Identify operational issues and recommend process improvements to reduce cost and wastage. Support management in improving efficiency and export readiness.

Qualifications & Experience



Education:

Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Floriculture, or related field.

Experience:

5+ years in fresh flower export units, pooja item processing, or perishable goods warehouse.
