Job Description

A Production Worker assembles, manufactures, and packages goods on an assembly line, operating machinery, monitoring quality, and ensuring safety in a factory setting; key duties include feeding materials, inspecting for defects, packaging finished products, maintaining clean workspaces, and following strict health/safety guidelines to meet production targets. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently, with responsibilities varying by industry, from food processing to automotive parts. Key Responsibilities Assembly & Manufacturing: Assemble components by hand or with power tools, feed raw materials into machines, and operate production line equipment. Quality Control: Monitor the assembly line, check for faulty products or defects, and perform basic quality tests. Machine Operation & Maintenance: Operate and monitor production machinery, performing basic cleaning and reporting faults to supervisors. Packaging & Shipping: Package finished products, label them, and organize them for shipment. Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and hazard-free workstation, and strictly adhere to all health and safety protocols. Essential Skills & Requirements Ability to work at a consistent pace and meet production targets. Strong attention to detail for quality checks. Physical stamina to stand for long hours and perform repetitive motions. Ability to follow instructions and work within a team. High school diploma/GED often preferred. Typical Work Environment Factories, manufacturing plants, or warehouses. May involve working with heavy machinery, hazardous materials, and loud noises.
