Job Description

A Production Worker assembles, manufactures, and packages goods on an assembly line, operating machinery, feeding raw materials, monitoring for defects, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met for timely shipment, requiring physical stamina and attention to detail in fast-paced factory or warehouse settings.
Key Responsibilities

Assembly & Operation: Assembling products by hand or with power tools, feeding raw materials into machines, and operating production equipment. Quality Control: Monitoring the assembly line, conducting basic quality checks, identifying faulty products, and removing them. Machine Maintenance: Performing minor adjustments, cleaning equipment, and reporting faults to supervisors. Packaging & Shipping: Packing finished goods, labeling them, and organizing them for distribution or shipment. Safety & Cleanliness: Adhering strictly to health and safety guidelines and maintaining a clean, organized workstation and production floor.
Typical Duties

Measure, grade, and feed materials into machinery.
Work on conveyor belts and production lines.

Inspect and test products to ensure they meet specifications.
Store and organize raw materials and finished goods.

Perform repetitive tasks with consistent speed and accuracy.
Requirements & Skills

Education: Often a High School Diploma or GED. Physical: Ability to stand for long hours, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive motions. Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a team, diligence, reliability, and the capacity to follow instructions. Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including overtime.
