Job Description

A production worker operates machinery, assembles products, and performs quality control to ensure items are manufactured correctly and efficiently. Key duties include monitoring equipment, maintaining a clean and safe workstation, packaging finished goods, and following production schedules and safety guidelines. The role requires physical stamina and attention to detail to meet production targets while identifying and reporting defects. Core responsibilities Operating machinery: Run and monitor production equipment, performing minor maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations. Assembling products: Put together parts and components by hand or using tools, according to product specifications. Quality control: Inspect products for defects during the manufacturing process and make adjustments as needed. Packaging: Finalize, package, and prepare finished products for shipment.
Maintaining a safe and clean work area: Adhere to safety protocols, keep the workstation tidy, and report any hazards.

Meeting targets: Work on the assembly line to meet production quotas and deadlines. Record keeping: Document production data and maintain accurate records. Required skills and qualifications Ability to follow production and safety guidelines. Strong attention to detail to identify defects and ensure quality standards are met. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads. Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and report issues.
