A production worker operates machinery, assembles parts, and packages goods to ensure high-quality products are made efficiently and on schedule. Their duties include monitoring production lines, performing quality checks, maintaining equipment and work areas, and preparing finished products for shipment. Production workers must follow safety guidelines, meet production targets, and may need to stand for long periods or work flexible hours. Key responsibilities BMachine operation: Operate and maintain factory machinery, such as assembly lines, and feed raw materials into equipment. Assembly: Manually assemble products or components according to specifications. Quality control: Perform basic quality checks to identify defects, ensure products meet standards, and remove faulty items. Packaging and shipping: Package finished goods and prepare them for shipment. Inventory and materials handling: Organize raw materials and finished products, and move them to their proper locations. Workplace maintenance: Keep work stations, tools, and equipment clean and organized. Safety and compliance: Follow all safety protocols and manufacturing guidelines at all times. Required skills and qualifications Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions accurately. Good physical stamina to stand for long hours and perform repetitive tasks. Attention to detail to perform quality checks and identify errors. Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with coworkers.
