Job Summary

The Production Engineer Trainee will undergo intensive training to support the manufacturing operations. This role is designed for fresh engineering graduates looking to build a career in production management and plant operations. The trainee will work alongside experienced engineers and supervisors to learn various facets of the production process, safety protocols, equipment handling, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

Learn and assist in day-to-day production activities to meet daily output targets. Understand machine operations, process parameters, and plant layout. Work on production planning, scheduling, and monitoring KPIs. Assist in reducing machine downtime through root cause analysis and preventive maintenance support. Maintain documentation related to production reports, maintenance logs, and shift handover notes. Collaborate with the quality and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations. Adhere to safety, health, and environmental guidelines in the plant.

Career Path

Upon successful completion of the training period (typically 6-12 months), the trainee may be absorbed into a permanent role such as Junior Production Engineer or Shift Engineer based on performance and business needs.
