The Manufacturing Support Technician performs non-production activities that support manufacturing processes in alignment with Cummins' quality, safety, and productivity standards. Operating in a dynamic manufacturing environment, the role requires limited supervision and focuses on continuous improvement, process optimization, and equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)
Immediately stop work and report any major injury hazards.
Report all work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards.
Comply with all HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Promote a culture of safety and interdependence.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Qualifications
High School and ITI or Diploma.
Additional technical certifications in welding, robotics, or mechanical engineering are preferred.
Licensing may be required for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Robotic Welding Teaching Knowledge.
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Documentation and Process Control (FMEA, Work Instructions, Control Plans).
Experience
Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Intermediate-level knowledge gained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
