Job Description

A Production Supervisor manages daily manufacturing, overseeing staff, scheduling, workflow, and quality to meet targets efficiently, focusing on team leadership, problem-solving, safety compliance, and continuous process improvement to boost productivity and minimize costs. Key duties involve task delegation, performance monitoring, equipment maintenance, inventory control, and reporting production metrics to management, ensuring adherence to SOPs and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

Team Management:

Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate production staff; manage schedules, tasks, and performance.

Production Oversight:

Monitor daily operations, adjust schedules to meet demand, ensure timely output, and resolve process issues.

Quality & Safety:

Enforce quality standards, ensure product specifications are met, and maintain strict health & safety compliance (SOPs).

Process Improvement:

Identify inefficiencies, implement cost-reduction strategies, and optimize workflows for better productivity.

Resource Management:

Manage inventory levels, coordinate material needs, and ensure equipment is functional and maintained.

Reporting:

Analyze data, report on production metrics, performance, and progress to senior management.
