Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage daily production activities.
Lead and supervise the production team, ensuring proper staffing, training, and performance monitoring.
Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet business demands.
Ensure adherence to
quality control, food safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices GMP guidelines
throughout the production process.
Maintain compliance with
safety regulations
and ensure a safe working environment.
Supervise and maintain production equipment, coordinating repairs and preventive maintenance.
Monitor
inventory levels
of raw materials and packaging supplies to prevent shortages.
Troubleshoot and resolve
production-related issues
to minimize downtime.
Analyze
production data and performance metrics
to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with
procurement, quality assurance, packaging, and logistics teams
for seamless operations.
Labour Management - Time to Time assessment and delegating to task them wisely.
Follow SOPs provided by the MD.
Report to the MD's on a daily basis.
As a Production Manager, ensure regular attendance and submit a daily attendance report.
Monitor and maintain daily records (e.g., DPR, Daily Stock Report).
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 7-10 years
of experience in production management, preferably in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry.
Strong background in food safety regulations, GMP, HACCP, and quality assurance.
Hands-on experience in managing production lines, optimizing workflows, and ensuring operational efficiency.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.
Experience in handling procurement, supply chain coordination, and inventory management.
Familiarity with automated production systems and industry-specific software is an advantage.
