Job Description

The Production Supervisor will support day-to-day production operations for handcrafted home decor and lighting products. This role involves supervising shop-floor activities, ensuring smooth workflow, monitoring quality, and assisting in meeting production timelines. The supervisor will work closely with artisans and production assistants, ensuring adherence to company standards and timely order fulfilment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Support & Supervision: o Oversee daily production activities and ensure schedules are followed. o Coordinate tasks among team members and artisans to meet deadlines. o Report progress and issues to the Production Manager.

2. Quality Monitoring: o Conduct regular checks to ensure products meet design and quality standards. o Highlight and assist in resolving production issues.

3. Inventory & Material Handling: o Track usage of raw materials and work-in-progress items. o Report shortages and assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels.

4. Team Coordination: o Supervise production assistants and artisans on the floor. o Train new team members in basic production processes and safety guidelines. o Encourage a collaborative and safe work environment.

5. Process & Safety Compliance: o Maintain a clean and organized production area. o Ensure compliance with safety practices and report any risks or hazards.

Requirements

Understanding of production workflows and basic quality control practices. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to supervise and coordinate a small team. Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Word for reporting.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
