to manage and monitor daily production activities in our chemical manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production operations, maintaining quality standards, safety compliance, and effective manpower handling.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day production activities as per production plan
Ensure production targets are achieved within given timelines
Monitor chemical processes, batch operations, and equipment usage
Maintain quality standards and follow SOPs during production
Ensure safety rules, EHS norms, and plant discipline are strictly followed
Coordinate with Quality Control, Maintenance, and Stores departments
Handle and guide production operators and helpers
Maintain production records, logbooks, and shift reports
Reduce wastage and improve productivity
Report any machine breakdowns, safety issues, or deviations to management
Required Qualifications
Diploma / B.Sc / B.Tech in
Chemical Engineering or related field
Knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes is mandatory
Experience
Minimum
3-6 years
experience in a
chemical manufacturing unit
Experience in handling shop-floor manpower and shift operations
Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership and team-handling skills
Good knowledge of chemical processes and safety practices
Basic computer knowledge (Excel, reports, production data)
Problem-solving and decision-making ability
Good communication and coordination skills
