Job Title: Production Supervisor

Location: Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu

Job Overview:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the cap manufacturing floor, ensuring efficient and quality production while maintaining safety standards. This role involves supervising the production team, coordinating with other departments, and troubleshooting production issues to meet output and quality targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on the shop floor Allocate tasks to workers and monitor their performance and productivity Ensure that workflow, manufacturing processes, and timelines are followed as per the production plan Monitor quality standards and implement corrective actions for defects or issues Guide, train, and motivate workers to achieve production and quality goals Maintain machinery and coordinate maintenance/repair as required Track usage of raw materials and maintain inventory records Maintain compliance with safety standards and factory policies Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste Coordinate with the quality complaince, procurement, and warehouse teams for smooth operations
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Textile Technology, Production, or related field (preferred) Minimum 2-5 years' experience in a cap manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role Any work experience in a promotional cap manufacturing unit would be an ideal candidate Strong knowledge of cap manufacturing processes and machinery therein. Knowledge of accessories procurement / vendors is a ++ Ability to train & retain new & existing production team members is a must Good leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills Basic computer literacy (MS Office, ERP systems preferred) Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
