Key Responsibilities:

Supervise day-to-day production activities in the machine shop and fabrication area. Assign work to operators, welders, fitters, and machine technicians. Ensure production targets are met as per schedule. Monitor machine operations like lathe, milling, drilling, cutting, welding, grinding, etc. Ensure proper material availability for daily production. Check product quality and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications. Maintain safety, 5S, and housekeeping in the work area. Coordinate with planning, quality, maintenance, and stores for smooth workflow. Prepare daily production reports and update management. Identify process issues and support improvement activities.

Skills Required:

Basic knowledge of machining and fabrication processes. Ability to read engineering drawings. Manpower handling and team coordination skills. Production planning and problem-solving ability. Knowledge of safety practices in machine shop.

Qualification & Experience:

ITI / Diploma / B.E. Mechanical or related field. 2-5 years experience in machine shop / fabrication field.
