Quality assurance: Ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements through regular inspections and by implementing corrective actions when needed. Safety and compliance: Uphold health and safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards throughout the production process. Equipment and maintenance: Monitor equipment performance, schedule regular maintenance, and ensure the safe use of machinery. Record keeping and reporting: Maintain accurate records of production output, inventory, and labor hours, and prepare reports for management. Process improvement: Identify and address inefficiencies, suggest improvements, and collaborate with other departments like engineering and quality assurance. Inventory management: Coordinate with purchasing and stores for raw materials and finished goods, and manage inventory levels. Required skills and qualifications Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and computer skills (e.g., MS Office). Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety regulations. Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
