Job Description

he Production Supervisor will oversee and coordinate daily production operations in the steel manufacturing plant. This role involves managing production staff, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, meeting production targets, and coordinating with other departments for smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage production activities on the shop floor (rolling mill, fabrication, melting, cutting, etc.). Allocate work to operators and ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials. Monitor production output and ensure targets are achieved on time. Enforce strict adherence to quality standards and minimize rejections/wastage. Maintain proper production records, daily reports, and shift logs. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental guidelines. Train, guide, and motivate workers to improve skills and efficiency. Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and stores teams for smooth workflow. Identify process improvements and assist in reducing downtime. Report production issues, delays, or resource shortages to management.
