Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning and Scheduling:

Develop and implement production schedules, adjusting as needed to meet targets and customer demands.

Team Leadership and Supervision:

Supervise, train, and evaluate production staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and addressing issues.

Quality Control:

Enforce quality standards, conduct inspections, and collaborate with quality assurance to address issues and implement corrective actions.

Process Optimization:

Analyze and improve production processes, identify areas for efficiency gains, and implement changes.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety procedures and complying with relevant regulations.

Equipment Maintenance:

Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime.

Inventory Management:

Monitor and manage inventory levels, coordinating with procurement and logistics to ensure adequate material availability.

Communication and Reporting:

Maintain open communication between production staff, management, and other departments, and prepare accurate reports on production progress and performance.
Skills and Qualifications:

Strong leadership and communication skills. Technical knowledge of rubber manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials. Ability to problem-solve, troubleshoot, and make quick decisions. Knowledge of quality control procedures and safety regulations. Proficiency in relevant software and systems (e.g., production scheduling, inventory management). Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the rubber industry.
